Listing Description: The Village of Lombard is seeking a full-time Civil Engineering Technician for the Engineering Division of Public Works. Assists staff engineers and inspects the installation of public infrastructure improvements to ensure compliance with Village standards. The position also assists with traffic-related activities (traffic signals, street lights, signage, pavement markings, signal and stop sign warrant analyses, etc.). Requires at least an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program or equivalent experience. Engineering construction field inspection, contract administration, AutoCAD drafting and total station surveying experience are preferred. Salary starts at $52,715 per year.
