Description :The Chicago Metro Chapter’s Suburban Branch together with the new Professional Snowfighters Association is providing an in-person educational opportunity to review and evaluate snow fighting best practices, including national speakers from Minnesota and Cargill, along with industry experts and updates from both the Illinois Tollway and our local municipal partners. We are in the snow removal industry. Weathering daunting winter storms is literally our job! But some storms are more severe and last longer than others. COVID-19 has caused not only an alarming global health crisis but also precipitated changes in the ways we approach snow operations and applications. Operations and applications are more than just buzz words; instead they describe ideas, practices and concepts that are important and relevant to our snow fighting partners that produce savings in materials and costs and reduce environmental impacts. 2022 Snow Day Day 1: 7:00am – 3:30pm and Day 2: 7:30am - 4:00pm Location: Medinah Banquets, 550 Shriners Drive, Addison, IL 60101 Registration The cost for this event is $95 (Day 1), $50/$80 (Day 2) and discounted combo-days with proceeds helping fund our national speakers travel and going to the APWA scholarship fund.
