Culvert (Small Structures) Inspections, Maintenance, and Rehabilitation

COST: $40 members / $45 non-members, which includes breakfast and 3 PDH’s
This class will address structures that are smaller than 20’ and not included in the NBIS program for bridge inspections. Concrete pipes, corrugated metal pipes, box culverts and three sided structures are integral parts of a municipalities’ assets. Failures can lead to traffic issues, stormwater and drainage issues, and complications with residents. Integrating an inspection program along with planning for repairs and rehabilitation help mitigate those issues. Come and hear some approaches to inspections and rehabilitation options available today. Many of the rehabilitation options apply to sanitary, storm and drainage systems.

Participants will be encouraged to share challenges and solutions in their communities.
3.0 Professional Development Hours (PDH) certificates of training will be provided for attendees. This will benefit PE’s who are required to earn 30 hours of continuing education every two years. Proceeds from this seminar will help fund the Fox Valley Branch Scholarship Program. Space is limited to 45 attendees so sign up early.
